Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.85% or 70.0 points to trade at 2530.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.03% or 0.2 points to end at 19.6 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.93% or 560.0 points to 60560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 1.32% or 260.0 points to trade at 19380.0 in late trade. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 0.51% or 50.0 points to end at 9840.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.49% or 140.0 points to 28500.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.28% or 0.40 to $144.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.98% or 90.00 to hit $2930.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1326.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.83% to 2902.95, while BRL/COP rose 1.88% to 897.61.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 95.53.
