Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.48% or 0.21 to $45.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $48.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.36% or 4.00 to trade at $1108.20 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was up 0.16% to 3.0614, while USD/MYR rose 0.26% to 4.3110.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 98.19.
