Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 3.45% or 400.0 points to trade at 12000.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) added 3.23% or 55.0 points to end at 1760.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 2.18% or 120.0 points to 5620.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which fell 2.31% or 420.0 points to trade at 17780.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 1.92% or 190.0 points to end at 9710.0 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was down 1.15% or 90.0 points to 7760.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 10 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) rose to 3-years highs; up 3.23% or 55.0 to 1760.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.33% or 1.60 to $118.45 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.43% or 47.00 to hit $3236.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.60 to trade at $1104.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 3027.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.90% to 785.30.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 95.76.
