Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Mining, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI), which rose 5.97% or 7.85 points to trade at 139.25 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) added 4.71% or 8.50 points to end at 188.80 and Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) was up 4.65% or 140 points to 3150 in late trade.
Biggest losers included IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which lost 9.97% or 15.20 points to trade at 137.30 in late trade. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) declined 8.07% or 13.00 points to end at 148.00 and Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) shed 6.38% or 3.61 points to 53.01.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 32 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.64% or 0.82 to $50.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.95% or 1.09 to hit $56.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.05 to trade at $1274.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.14% to 11.0870, while USD/MAD rose 0.31% to 9.4700.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 93.76.
