Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Utilities, Media and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.09% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 5.52% or 0.99 points to trade at 18.91 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 3.34% or 2.55 points to end at 78.85 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 3.00% or 0.99 points to 34.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which lost 2.20% or 1.30 points to trade at 57.80 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 2.08% or 0.24 points to end at 11.32 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) shed 1.68% or 1.40 points to 82.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 63 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $50.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.34% or 0.19 to hit $56.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.88 to trade at $1299.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.3177, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 7.7877.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 91.84.
