Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Auto & components and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 3.32% or 6.6 points to trade at 205.1 at the close. Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) added 2.49% or 0.16 points to end at 6.39 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 2.24% or 0.57 points to 26.07 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which lost 0.96% or 0.5 points to trade at 48.4 in late trade. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 0.86% or 3.60 points to end at 415.00 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 0.84% or 1.45 points to 172.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 111 to 70 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.79% or 1.68 to $61.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.66% or 1.69 to hit $65.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.40 to trade at $1325.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.75% to 9.5802, while USD/NOK fell 0.89% to 7.7705.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 89.97.
