Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Commercial Service And Supplies and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP), which rose 6.46% or 10.00 points to trade at 162.90 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 1.65% or 1.00 points to end at 61.58 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 1.09% or 2.0 points to 185.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which lost 5.07% or 4.20 points to trade at 78.65 in late trade. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 4.69% or 18.10 points to end at 367.90 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) shed 3.94% or 0.04 points to 1.02.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 67 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.00% or 0.52 to $52.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 0.77 to hit $58.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1277.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.03% to 9.4057, while USD/NOK fell 0.15% to 7.9930.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
