Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 3.19% or 1.60 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.04% or 2.85 points to end at 142.85 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 1.61% or 1.5 points to 96.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which lost 3.76% or 2.66 points to trade at 68.12 in late trade. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) declined 2.81% or 4.8 points to end at 164.2 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 2.00% or 1.4 points to 67.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 78 and 19 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.79% or 0.42 to $53.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.54% or 0.33 to hit $61.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 16.90 to trade at $1296.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 9.7195, while USD/NOK fell 0.74% to 8.5232.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 95.567.
