Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Capital Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 3.15% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.80 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.90% or 13.00 points to end at 461.20 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 1.42% or 3.5 points to 249.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 4.18% or 1.53 points to trade at 35.09 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 2.87% or 0.43 points to end at 14.57 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 2.32% or 1.65 points to 69.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 116 to 58 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.19% or 0.87 to $73.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.45% or 0.35 to hit $77.04 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1255.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.01% to 9.4254, while USD/NOK fell 0.39% to 8.0295.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 93.79.
