Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.32% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OSLO:OPERA), which rose 2.53% or 1.35 points to trade at 54.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OSLO:FOE) added 0.52% or 0.2 points to end at 37.0 and Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG) was up 0.26% or 0.15 points to 57.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OSLO:GOGLT), which fell 9.12% or 2.50 points to trade at 24.90 at the close. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) declined 7.19% or 0.10 points to end at 1.30 and Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) was down 5.89% or 3.6 points to 58.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 139 to 42 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.73% or 1.13 to $40.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.67% or 1.25 to hit $45.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.50% or 5.80 to trade at $1159.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.73% to 9.3179, while USD/NOK fell 0.28% to 8.2066.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.79% at 95.01.
