Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.41% or 50.0 points to trade at 3600.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.71% or 440.0 points to end at 62000.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.11% or 20.0 points to 18500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.28% or 25.0 points to trade at 1070.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.80% or 0.4 points to end at 21.8 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.01% or 260.0 points to 25600.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 4 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.47% or 0.70 to $149.03 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.29% or 6.50 to hit $2215.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.65 to trade at $1198.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.54% to 2940.79, while BRL/COP fell 0.50% to 912.95.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 101.20.
