Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 0.63% or 4.5 points to trade at 719.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.11% or 0.4 points to end at 368.8 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 0.08% or 0.10 points to 123.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.65% or 24.0 points to trade at 633.0 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.64% or 8.0 points to end at 294.6 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 2.33% or 6.8 points to 285.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 37 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.54% or 0.24 to $44.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.26% or 0.12 to hit $46.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.54% or 19.70 to trade at $1256.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.66% to 6.6723, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 97.48.
