Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 9.93% or 21.40 points to trade at 237.00 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) added 6.66% or 1.34 points to end at 21.46 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 4.87% or 1.90 points to 40.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which lost 4.23% or 0.50 points to trade at 11.32 in late trade. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 3.78% or 0.52 points to end at 13.22 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) shed 3.39% or 0.84 points to 23.96.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 65 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.25% or 0.18 to $72.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $77.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.70 to trade at $1253.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.3379, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.01.
