Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.93% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.65% or 2.20 points to end at 25.00 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was up 7.81% or 1.30 points to 17.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020), which fell 2.78% or 1.00 points to trade at 35.00 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 2.49% or 2.25 points to end at 88.00 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 1.64% or 0.15 points to 9.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 29.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.93% or 2.20 to 24.35. Shares in Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.78% or 1.00 to 35.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.34% or 0.17 to $48.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.49% or 0.25 to hit $50.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.49% or 5.50 to trade at $1119.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.1002, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 97.48.
