Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Energy and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.20% or 12.2 points to trade at 303.0 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.93% or 0.25 points to end at 8.60 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 1.85% or 0.3 points to 16.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 5.04% or 1.3 points to trade at 24.7 in late trade. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) declined 3.16% or 4.6 points to end at 140.9 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) shed 2.44% or 0.75 points to 30.01.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 82 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.58% or 0.24 to $41.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $43.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.23% or 16.45 to trade at $1357.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.71% to 9.4094, while USD/NOK fell 1.53% to 8.4247.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.17% at 95.56.
