Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 1.15% or 1.75 points to trade at 153.85 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 0.98% or 0.96 points to end at 98.72 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.79% or 0.39 points to 49.72 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which lost 1.58% or 5.7 points to trade at 354.3 in late trade. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.48% or 3.40 points to end at 226.80 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 1.33% or 1.33 points to 99.02.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 308 to 305 and 50 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.61% or 1.03 to $62.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.26% or 0.85 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.19% or 15.80 to trade at $1317.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 10.0618, while USD/SEK rose 0.92% to 8.2262.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 90.32.
