Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.68% or 6.5 points to trade at 249.1 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 2.34% or 1.37 points to end at 60.02 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 2.23% or 20.0 points to 918.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which lost 6.02% or 13.3 points to trade at 207.6 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.16% or 5.90 points to end at 267.00 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 1.36% or 0.50 points to 36.14.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 392 to 281 and 88 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $50.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $53.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1245.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 9.5579, while USD/SEK fell 0.04% to 8.9375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 100.19.
