Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 1.98% or 2.2 points to trade at 110.9 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) added 1.60% or 5.0 points to end at 317.8 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 1.43% or 2.40 points to 170.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 3.02% or 1.48 points to trade at 47.56 in late trade. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.84% or 4.7 points to end at 554.8 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) shed 0.64% or 0.62 points to 96.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 355 to 253 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.79% or 1.68 to $61.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.63% or 1.67 to hit $65.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.60 to trade at $1325.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 10.1475, while USD/SEK fell 0.40% to 8.2301.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 89.97.
