Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.31% or 4.8 points to trade at 148.6 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 3.24% or 7.00 points to end at 223.00 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 2.28% or 4.1 points to 181.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 11.20% or 29.5 points to trade at 233.8 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 6.47% or 5.8 points to end at 84.2 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 4.60% or 58.0 points to 1202.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 332 to 277 and 62 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.32% or 0.22 to $67.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $74.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.80 to trade at $1322.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 10.5124, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 8.6823.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 91.44.
