Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 4.20% or 1.56 points to trade at 38.67 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 2.05% or 1.98 points to end at 98.64 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.61% or 3.80 points to 240.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 5.11% or 0.70 points to trade at 13.00 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 0.98% or 0.48 points to end at 48.71 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) shed 0.94% or 3.5 points to 367.1.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 337 to 276 and 46 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.79% or 0.52 to $66.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $70.46 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 10.40 to trade at $1352.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 9.7874, while USD/SEK fell 0.54% to 7.8777.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 88.84.
