Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.56% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 4.79% or 8.9 points to trade at 194.7 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 3.69% or 7.8 points to end at 219.4 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 2.88% or 7.00 points to 250.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 3.31% or 7.2 points to trade at 210.2 in late trade. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.43% or 0.9 points to end at 207.8 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) shed 0.32% or 1.0 points to 315.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 413 to 350 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.26% or 0.16 to hit $60.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.50 to trade at $1270.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.24% to 9.7564, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 8.3706.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
