Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 3.80% or 5.4 points to trade at 147.6 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.78% or 1.09 points to end at 40.35 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 2.77% or 0.98 points to 36.33 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 1.00% or 0.47 points to trade at 46.65 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 0.99% or 2.0 points to end at 201.0 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 0.80% or 0.75 points to 92.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 482 to 255 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.68% or 1.23 to $47.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.53% or 1.79 to hit $52.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 9.22 to trade at $1323.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.4594, while USD/SEK fell 0.30% to 7.9552.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 92.75.
