Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.94% or 0.81 points to trade at 42.50 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 1.85% or 5.6 points to end at 307.6 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 1.75% or 8.6 points to 500.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which lost 0.24% or 0.2 points to trade at 98.6 in late trade. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.10% or 0.2 points to end at 204.5 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) gained 0.06% or 0.10 points to 159.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.45% or 0.31 to $68.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $73.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1221.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 10.3122, while USD/SEK rose 0.23% to 8.9139.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.03.
