Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which rose 2.38% or 8.4 points to trade at 362.0 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) added 2.35% or 7.5 points to end at 326.9 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 2.30% or 3.1 points to 137.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which lost 0.47% or 0.30 points to trade at 63.12 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 0.46% or 1.0 points to end at 214.8 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 0.43% or 1.35 points to 312.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 327 to 281 and 62 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.61% or 0.40 to $66.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $76.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.30 to trade at $1305.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.35% to 10.2130, while USD/SEK fell 0.58% to 8.6594.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.52.
