Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 2.48% or 5.70 points to trade at 235.70 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 2.48% or 6.0 points to end at 248.1 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was up 2.22% or 9.1 points to 419.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which lost 1.26% or 3.5 points to trade at 273.8 in late trade. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) declined 0.29% or 0.45 points to end at 153.75 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) shed 0.24% or 1.1 points to 457.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 326 to 308 and 39 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.33% or 0.23 to $70.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $78.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 10.00 to trade at $1201.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 10.3268, while USD/SEK rose 0.27% to 8.7967.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 93.87.
