Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 2.95% or 5.3 points to trade at 185.0 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 2.72% or 4.7 points to end at 177.4 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 2.61% or 9.9 points to 389.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which lost 6.23% or 6.0 points to trade at 90.0 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.09% or 0.17 points to end at 7.88 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) shed 1.69% or 1.13 points to 65.69.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 398 to 243 and 48 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.12% or 0.08 to $67.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.49% or 0.36 to hit $74.36 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1317.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 10.4979, while USD/SEK rose 1.18% to 8.6657.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 91.30.
