Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 4.17% or 3.08 points to trade at 76.92 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 4.08% or 3.1 points to end at 78.1 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 3.75% or 17.1 points to 473.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 4.75% or 6.77 points to trade at 135.68 in late trade. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) declined 1.80% or 7.9 points to end at 430.8 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.13% or 2.50 points to 218.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 435 to 195 and 51 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.14 to $71.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $81.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1231.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.58% to 10.3067, while USD/SEK fell 0.71% to 8.8895.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 94.65.
