Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.98% or 1.23 points to trade at 42.45 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 1.48% or 0.25 points to end at 17.10 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 1.24% or 2.1 points to 172.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which lost 1.92% or 4.70 points to trade at 240.00 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.79% or 2.2 points to end at 120.8 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) shed 1.67% or 3.20 points to 188.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 333 to 286 and 64 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.45% or 0.26 to $57.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $63.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1263.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 9.9516, while USD/SEK fell 0.20% to 8.4195.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 93.21.
