Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.68% or 3.00 points to trade at 181.50 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 0.70% or 1.3 points to end at 188.2 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 0.60% or 0.80 points to 134.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 1.97% or 5.7 points to trade at 283.3 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.22% or 0.8 points to end at 64.7 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) shed 1.19% or 1.4 points to 115.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 390 to 322 and 88 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.28% or 1.55 to $48.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.35% or 1.23 to hit $53.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 11.03 to trade at $1341.43 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 9.4889, while USD/SEK rose 0.00% to 7.9648.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.29.
