Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.37% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.08% or 14.8 points to trade at 725.8 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 1.48% or 2.15 points to end at 147.75 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.83% or 1.80 points to 219.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which lost 2.24% or 2.50 points to trade at 109.15 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.47% or 1.25 points to end at 83.69 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) shed 1.33% or 1.38 points to 102.62.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 405 to 231 and 50 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.10% or 0.07 to $69.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.21% or 0.17 to hit $79.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1224.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 10.3168, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 8.9983.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 95.77.
