Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 6.79% or 17.7 points to trade at 278.2 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 3.25% or 3.4 points to end at 107.9 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.56% or 0.61 points to 39.59 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 10.60% or 16.5 points to trade at 139.3 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 9.19% or 5.12 points to end at 50.58 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 3.33% or 0.42 points to 12.18.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 348 to 264 and 48 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.17 to $64.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.36% or 0.25 to hit $68.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.80 to trade at $1341.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 9.7867, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 7.8716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 88.86.
