Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.65% or 1.70 points to trade at 105.00 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.23% or 4.0 points to end at 330.1 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 1.19% or 1.70 points to 144.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 12.98% or 26.0 points to trade at 174.3 in late trade. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) declined 5.13% or 9.30 points to end at 171.90 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 3.34% or 1.40 points to 40.57.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 390 to 229 and 61 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.32% or 0.18 to $57.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $63.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1257.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 10.0172, while USD/SEK rose 0.78% to 8.5038.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 93.83.
