Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.08% or 0.99 points to trade at 48.48 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 0.22% or 0.6 points to end at 271.7 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 0.28% or 0.3 points to 107.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which lost 2.43% or 2.1 points to trade at 84.4 in late trade. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 1.56% or 1.54 points to end at 96.92 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 1.50% or 0.15 points to 9.93.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 366 to 260 and 45 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.03% or 0.63 to $60.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.42% or 0.27 to hit $64.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.90 to trade at $1327.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.03% to 10.1686, while USD/SEK fell 0.47% to 8.1997.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 89.61.
