Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which rose 0.53% or 0.6 points to trade at 114.8 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) fell 0.14% or 0.5 points to end at 353.1 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 0.47% or 0.44 points to 94.12 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 2.71% or 7.4 points to trade at 266.1 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) declined 2.70% or 9.6 points to end at 345.5 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 2.66% or 0.27 points to 9.99.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 484 to 135 and 50 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.99% or 0.61 to $61.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.16% or 0.75 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 7.20 to trade at $1310.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 10.0967, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 8.2681.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 90.59.
