Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.91% or 9.5 points to trade at 336.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) added 2.64% or 19.5 points to end at 759.5 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was up 1.93% or 0.92 points to 48.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC), which fell 4.60% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.51 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 4.55% or 1.71 points to end at 35.87 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was down 3.16% or 1.9 points to 58.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 74.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.49% or 0.70 to $47.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.73% or 0.36 to hit $50.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1165.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.68% to 9.2559, while USD/NOK rose 0.52% to 8.1357.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 94.83.
