Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 1.93% or 8.5 points to trade at 447.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.45% or 3.50 points to end at 244.40 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.85% or 5.0 points to 592.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 1.19% or 0.42 points to trade at 34.82 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.83% or 1.9 points to end at 227.3 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 0.60% or 5.0 points to 825.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 4.18% or 1.94 to $48.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 4.40% or 2.06 to hit $48.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.41% or 4.95 to trade at $1213.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 7.0154, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4399.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 101.11.
