(Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Thursday, boosted by technology stocks and mirroring gains from its Wall Street peers after chip designer Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA)'s stellar quarterly results and forecast.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (14:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 115.03 points, or 0.54%, at 21,287.41.
