Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.45% or 6.9 points to trade at 288.8 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.29% or 8.5 points to end at 666.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 0.82% or 4.0 points to 494.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 0.92% or 120 points to trade at 12930 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.85% or 3.2 points to end at 373.1 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.83% or 2.3 points to 276.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 56 to 53 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.36% or 0.62 to $46.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.40% or 0.67 to hit $48.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.26 to trade at $1216.84 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.5319, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 95.67.
