Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Multi Investment and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810), which rose 9.32% or 3.00 points to trade at 35.20 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) added 6.58% or 2.00 points to end at 32.40 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was up 4.45% or 0.75 points to 17.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040), which lost 1.71% or 1.00 points to trade at 57.50 in late trade. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) declined 1.56% or 0.20 points to end at 12.60 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) shed 1.29% or 0.25 points to 19.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 113 to 32 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.50% or 0.81 to $53.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.42% or 0.80 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 9.25 to trade at $1240.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 3.9427, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 102.06.
