Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 2.28% or 220.0 points to trade at 9860.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.62% or 300.0 points to end at 18780.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 1.39% or 160.0 points to 11660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.54% or 20.0 points to trade at 1280.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.07% or 0.2 points to end at 18.5 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 0.81% or 240.0 points to 29380.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 9 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.09% or 0.13 to $148.85 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.41% or 11.50 to hit $2813.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1326.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.86% to 2951.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.66% to 883.29.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 95.31.
