Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.72% or 45.0 points to trade at 2665.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.21% or 280.0 points to end at 23480.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.11% or 140.0 points to 12780.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.65% or 0.3 points to trade at 17.9 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.38% or 200.0 points to end at 14280.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) shed 1.14% or 680.0 points to 58800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.08% or 2.82 to $138.32 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.55% or 17.00 to hit $3124.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.67% or 8.65 to trade at $1296.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.90% to 2977.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.56% to 858.09.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.40% at 94.65.
