Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 3.64% or 57 points to trade at 1621 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 3.26% or 2120 points to end at 67120 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was up 2.50% or 18.0 points to 738.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 2.06% or 760 points to trade at 36100 in late trade. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 2.04% or 500 points to end at 24060 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) shed 1.95% or 300 points to 15060.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 163 to 158 and 118 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.51% or 0.25 to $49.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.50% or 0.25 to hit $50.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.31% or 4.00 to trade at $1266.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.47% to 3.8244, while EUR/ILS fell 0.03% to 4.3410.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 93.52.
