Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 10.09% or 0.43 points to trade at 4.69 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.55% or 3.50 points to end at 229.30 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.02% or 4.8 points to 473.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 2.61% or 0.94 points to trade at 35.06 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.90% or 0.87 points to end at 45.00 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) shed 1.79% or 0.02 points to 1.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 79 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.33% or 0.17 to $51.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 0.13 to hit $54.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 5.87 to trade at $1255.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.07% to 9.3765, while USD/NOK rose 0.40% to 8.3722.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 97.14.
