US futures are pointing to a marginally higher open as of 04:05am ET. European equities markets have opened with losses, following weak performance in Asia. Markets are returning to the 'good news is bad news' interpretation of better-than-expected flash global PMIs, especially in the US. This has led to a slide in bond prices on expectations of higher-for-longer rates, and a selloff in equities, especially on the Nasdaq.
