Guardian Canadian Equity Income Fund is an open ended equity mutual fund launched and managed by Guardian Capital LP. It invests in public equity markets of Canada. The fund invests in stocks of companies across diversified sectors. It seeks to invest in Canadian dividend-paying equity securities, income trust units and other flow-through securities. The fund employs fundamental analysis with a focus on bottom up stock picking approach to security analysis to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against 80% S&P/TSX Equity Index and 20% S&P/TSX Canadian REIT Index. The fund was formerly known Guardian Equity Income Fund.
