CoinShares ETF Trust - CoinShares Bitcoin and Ether ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by CoinShares Asset Management (US) LLC. The fund is co-managed by Vident Asset Management. It invests in fixed income and currency markets. For its fixed income portion, it primarily invests in cash, cash-like instruments or high-quality securities. For its currency portion, it invests through derivatives in bitcoin and ether. The fund uses derivatives such as exchange-traded futures contracts to create its portfolio. It seeks to invest in CME bitcoin futures contracts indirectly through its wholly-owned subsidiary organized under the laws of the Cayman Islands. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Total Return Index. CoinShares ETF Trust - CoinShares Bitcoin and Ether ETF was formed on October 21, 2021 and is domiciled in the United States.
