The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities such as common stocks, preferred stock, rights and warrants issued by small companies that are based outside the United States, including companies in emerging and frontier as well as in developed markets. Under normal circumstances, the fund will hold 70-80 investments across 12 countries.

Biography | Robert Cresci is the Senior Fund Manager of the International Small Companies strategy. Robert began his career in 1985 in New York as an Analyst first for Robert Fleming, then Mercury Asset Management and finally Vontobel, where he became a Portfolio Manager in 1993. In 1997, he moved to London to become a Senior Portfolio Manager with Sagitta Asset Management to initiate and manage an International Small Companies equity strategy. After the acquisition of Sagitta, Robert founded Arethusa Asset Management before joining Harding Loevner in 2006. Throughout his career, Robert has been focused on small and mid-cap stock investing using a fundamental investment approach. He is a 1985 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Mathematics, and received his MBA in Finance from Fordham University. |
