Investment Strategy
The investment seeks high total return with only moderate price risk. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in corporate bonds. It invests primarily in investment grade fixed income securities, but may invest up to 35% of its assets in securities rated below investment grade, or "junk bonds," including loan participations and assignments, which are rated below investment grade or are deemed by the subadviser to be below investment grade. It may also invest in foreign securities (up to 20% of net assets); and when-issued and delayed delivery transactions. The fund may invest in illiquid investments (up to 15% of assets).
