Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Materials, Commercial Service And Supplies and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 4.73% or 16.4 points to trade at 363.0 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.00% or 0.32 points to end at 16.35 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 1.71% or 0.68 points to 40.46 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 5.21% or 0.62 points to trade at 11.28 in late trade. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 3.74% or 3.20 points to end at 82.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 2.27% or 5.3 points to 227.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 86 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.91% or 0.46 to $49.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.81% or 0.45 to hit $55.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.32 to trade at $1311.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 9.3484, while USD/NOK fell 0.17% to 7.8350.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 91.89.
