Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Services, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.53% or 560.0 points to trade at 37200.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.47% or 20.0 points to end at 1380.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.18% or 200.0 points to 17200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 3.63% or 150.0 points to trade at 3980.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.97% or 260.0 points to end at 12920.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.53% or 180.0 points to 11580.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 14 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.66% or 0.80 to $122.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.54% or 16.50 to hit $3051.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1213.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.43% to 3126.40, while BRL/COP rose 1.06% to 872.61.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.56.
